Early validation concept

AI-generated media is taking over the internet.

It is not fake by default. But real-world media needs a way to stand apart.

Photos and videos are becoming easier to generate, reuse, and doubt. Evidli is exploring a simple proof receipt for media captured from the real world, so people can tell when origin matters.

Evidli is not an AI detector. It does not classify existing media as real or fake. Instead, it certifies the original when captured.

We are validating the idea. The product is not live yet.

The problem

The problem is not AI. The problem is not knowing what was captured.

Synthetic media can be useful, creative, and legitimate. But when generated media and camera-captured media sit side by side, viewers need a clearer signal for what came from the real world.

Like natural and lab-grown diamonds, the point is not that one is fake. The point is knowing the origin when origin matters.

1

AI-generated photos and videos are becoming normal across feeds, marketplaces, reviews, profiles, and news.

2

AI media is not fake by default, but it changes what viewers can assume from seeing an image or video.

3

Real-world media can be dismissed as AI-generated, staged, old, stolen, or impossible to verify.

4

When trust, money, safety, reputation, or ownership is involved, people need a way to know what was actually captured.

The internet was built around seeing. The synthetic internet will need ways to tell what was actually captured.
How Evidli would work

Capture once. Verify anywhere.

A platform-independent proof link follows the media, even when the media is shared somewhere else.

1

Capture

Capture photo or video inside Evidli when origin may later matter.

2

Sign

Create a proof receipt with timestamp, capture source, optional location, and media hash.

3

Share

Post the media anywhere: social platforms, marketplaces, blogs, or your own site.

4

Verify

Viewers open the proof link and see what can be verified, independent of platform.

Mock proof receipt

A public verification page could show what is known.

This is an example mock. Evidli would focus on origin and capture chain, so viewers can understand how the media was created.

  • An origin signal for the moments where provenance matters.

What Evidli is not

  • Not an AI detector.
  • Not anti-AI.
  • Not a replacement for context, judgment, or legal ownership records.
  • Not a social network or dating app.

FAQ

Short answers before the product exists.

Is Evidli an AI detector?
No. AI detection is an arms race. Evidli is about proving real-world capture at the source.
Does Evidli prove something is true?
Evidli focuses on origin: how, when, and where media was captured. It is a signal for provenance, not a judge of the full story around the media.
Does Evidli mean AI-generated media is fake?
No. AI media can be legitimate. The issue is origin. When origin matters, media needs proof.
Why use this instead of a normal camera?
When media may later affect trust, money, reputation, safety, or ownership, a proof receipt can help.
Will this work on Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, and other platforms?
The idea is platform-independent. Users would share a proof link with the media. Platform integrations may come later.
What about privacy and location?
Users should decide what they share and what they keep private. Location and other sensitive details should be optional, and users should have full control over their data and privacy.
What stage is Evidli in?
Early validation. The product is not live yet. The goal is to learn who needs this most.
